Most Valuable Player

1. Kevin Durant- Oklahoma City Thunder

2. LeBron James- Miami Heat

3. Blake Griffin- Los Angeles Clippers

Kevin Durant is easily the MVP this season. He makes scoring look so easy. Even LeBron said KD is the MVP this year. This is most LeBron has had to carry the Heat during the big three era. Despite this LeBron is still very efficient, but Durant has had the better statistical season. Blake has vastly improved this year. He is easily the best Power Forward in the NBA.

Rookie Of The Year

1. Victor Oladipo- Orlando Magic

2. Michael Carter Williams- Philadelphia 76ers

3. Mason Plumlee- Brooklyn Nets

Yes I picked Oladpio as my rookie of the year. Michael Carter Williams may lead all rookies in almost all categories, but Oladipo is averaging more points per 36 minutes played and he is shooting 5 less shots a game then Williams. Williams is shooting a poor 25 percent from three yet continues to take a countless number of shots.

Defensive Player Of The Year

1. DeAndre Jordan- Los Angeles Clippers

2. Joakim Noah- Chicago Bulls

3. Andre Iguodala- Golden State Warriors

As I mentioned in a previous article, Jordan is the key for the Clippers to win the NBA title. He is a game changer with his ability to block shots and his athleticism on the defensive end of the court. What Joakim Noah brings to the Bulls is not measurable. He is the heart and sole of that team and he leads the defense. Iguodala is the best perimeter defender in the NBA. He is a big reason why the often looked at offensive team only Warriors are actually a phenomenal defensive team.

Most Improved Player

1. Anthony Davis- New Orleans Pelicans

2. Groan Dragic- Phenoix Suns

3. Lance Stephenson- Indiana Pacers

These three players could arguably win the award in any of the last 5 seasons. Anthony Davis has elevated himself to be a game changer. He is long, athletic, and fast. He is a future superstar. Dragic has taken the NBA by storm by leading the Suns to what might be a playoff spot.

Sixth Man Of The Year

1. Manu Ginobili- San Antonio Spurs

2. Taj Gibson- Chicago Bulls

3. Anderson Varejao- Cleveland Cavilers

Manu is the definsition of a sixth man. He has no problem coming off the bench and he previously won the award in the 2007-2008 NBA season. He is a big reason why the Spurs have the best record in the league.

Coach Of The Year

1. Tom Thibodeau- Chicago Bulls

2. Steve Clifford- Charlotte Bobcats

3. Jeff Hornacek- Phoenix Suns

Do I even have to explain this one? He is hands down the best coach in the NBA. Two years now, he has led a Derrick Roseless team to the NBA playoffs. He demands perfection on the defensive end of the court. His coaching style along with Joakim Noah has allowed the bulls to overachieve in the last two seasons.
